Following the Spring theme from the last post, I went to Notting Hill the weekend afterwards to see what the flowers were up to there. Notting Hill is such a lovely area, and it was really warm and sunny and bright - perfect weather for exploring this beautiful part of London. I try to get to Notting Hill every Spring, as pictures of #wisteriahysteria start to hit my Instagram feed and I just want to go out and see it for myself!
This adventure, however, was delayed for over an hour - just as I was walking along a street, I came across an old man who was basically blind and asked me to take him to the bank. He said it was just around the corner so I agreed, but it took an awful long time to get around the corner because he couldn't walk so quickly, and once we got there, he asked me to wait for him. He was nice, and I didn't have any pressing plans so I helped him, but I did start to change my mind when I dropped him off at the bus stop and he started smoking! Thankfully his bus came and I put him on the bus and went on my way - good deed done for the day.
I started off in an area that I recognised, then just turned off the main streets and wandered around. It was lovely - the flowers were beautiful, the sky was blue and it was a perfect spring day!
