We left our campsite at 9:30am. We were doing the Bunyeroo Gorge drive today. It was so good – Razorback lookout was awesome. We then drove the Geology drive, which was really great. There were signs to say when the rocks around you were formed, and the rocks were some amazing colours – from greens to yellows to reds. We had lunch in a dry riverbed.

We kept along the drive, stopping in an area where Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies hang out. We saw a couple, they were so nicely coloured! And they had black and brown stripey tails!

As we drove back to Wilpena Pound, we stopped off at some of the lookouts along the way and some old homestead ruins. How anyone managed to live out here in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s is anyone’s guess. It’s such a harsh environment, beautiful but harsh. We got back to the campsite and did some washing and had a quiet night.
