We drove back to Hawker for fuel. There was no power at the campsite and so we couldn’t get fuel there and Hawker was the next best place. It wasn’t too far out of the way - we were heading that direction for another drive.
On the way to Hawker, we spotted these massive wedge-tailed eagles eating a carcass on the road. We stopped on the way back and took some photos.
We drove the Moralana Scenic drive today to the Outback Highway and then all the way to Parachilna. The views were incredible.
From there we turned right and followed the Gorge Road, before veering left to the Glass Gorge drive. Not as pretty as yesterday’s gorge drive, but still nice. We also saw some goats and some emus as well! We followed the drive to Blinman then turned back to go back to the campsite. We stopped along the way at the Stokes Hill lookout, one of my favourites from the area! Back to the campsite for our last night.
