We got to Cradle Mountain at about 12pm and had lunch in the carpark before going to buy a day pass. We caught the free shuttle bus into the park and were dropped off at Dove Lake. You could see the mountain from there, and the beautiful lake. We did the Dove Lake Circuit walk, which took us around the outside of the lake. It was a beautiful blue, sunny day, but the experience was just so-so. The mountain and lake were interesting, but the walk was not as good as the pandani grove walk we'd done earlier in the trip. I feel like we would have had the same experience just going there and walking 200m around the bottom of the lake rather than doing the full lap. Of course, there are also different walks but we were only there one afternoon.
We drove to Kentish Park Campground to camp. It had all these different levels that you could camp at, but annoyingly the toilets were right down the bottom. Car troubles again, and Josh had to do some more fiddling with the wheel bearing.
