What an amazing day we had – lots of photos incoming...

We woke up to cloudy skies but sunshine was forecast so we left the tent up and put the awning out to try to dry them out. Of course, they were both dry when it started raining… But the sun came out so we tried again. We had a wander down to the beach too and had a look – nice looking beach!

We left the campsite and head up to the Bay of Fires and put the drone up – it was amazing. We spent ages around there just taking photos – it was quite windy so the waves were pretty crazy!

We drove back to St Helens for lunch, food and diesel. We got some takeaway from a cafe there and went to sit by the water to eat it. Josh had fish and chips, and I had a falafel box.

We then drove to Policeman’s Point at Anson’s Bay which was totally gorgeous.. The photos don't even do this place justice!

From there, we drove up to Eddystone Point lighthouse which was great but lacking in any information about the actual buildings there so I don't know a lot about them to share with you. The lighthouse was built in 1889. There's not a lot of information about it or the buildings on Wiki either. Pretty though.

We kept going north and ended up on Cape Portland. It’s wild, with very few people around and unspoilt beaches. Lots of wildlife too. We camped at Petal Point, at a beautiful campsite. Josh put the drone up in the evening for the most spectacular sunset – the sky was reds and pinks. Totally insane.
