My mum's birthday fell on the same weekend as one of my Dad's Morris Dancing weekends - don't ask! So rather than go with him to watch him hop around with his hankies to jaunty music, she came up to London to see me! I planned an itinerary and booked a few things - we went to Skygarden, saw the musical Kinky Boots. It was also just before the Chelsea Flower Show, so we went for a walk around Belgravia to look at all the flower displays being set up in the shops (I love that they all get on board!). We stopped for a birthday cupcake at Peggy Porschen and also had a lovely dinner at a restaurant called Baltic. It was a really nice weekend!
