Explored Hobart. It’s a really nice place.

We started off going on a wiggly walk through all the lovely streets of Battery Point. The houses were so cute, and there were loads of little cafes and shops. It would definitely be a nice place to return to. We walked along a road and past a really cool building called the Royal Tennis Club 1875. We had no idea what this meant, and were talking about it as we walked along. A guy who was sitting in a car on the side of the road heard us, and told us all about it… It’s an old tennis game from the 15th century where you play tennis indoors. It is like the tennis that was played in the movie Ever After.

We kept wandering around then went back to our accommodation. We walked towards Sandy Bay to get lunch, stopping in a Chinese take away (which had lots of Chinese people in it) and got nasi goreng for lunch. Yum.

Josh was stuffed so he went back to the accommodation, and I went for a longer walk through the lovely Battery Point area. I also went back and cooked some soup for the next few days.

Here's my photo dump!
