My last day in Switzerland and my flight didn't leave until 9pm so I had a whole day in Zurich. I packed up my suitcase to leave it at the hotel and I set off to explore the city. Unlike my first day in Zurich where it was grey and rainy, today was glorious and sunny and beautiful. It wasn't warm but it was one of those bright, clear winter's days.
I set off early to go for an explore around the city in the peace and quiet.
I left for the airport at 6pm, caught my flight at 9pm and was back home by 11:40pm. What an amazing trip it was.
I really enjoyed Switzerland in the snow but I think I would probably have enjoyed it more in the spring or summer - I would love to see it with all the flowers blooming, and there are many (many) hiking paths that I saw that I would have enjoyed walking. Doesn't help that I can't ski or do most snow-related activities! Oh well, next time I will go in warmer weather, but at least the snow and lovely winter days made for some beautiful photographs. I hope you've enjoyed them!
