This post is entirely dedicated to the Klasztor i Bazylika Franciszkanów św. Franciszka z Asyżu or Basilica of St Francis of Assisi.

It was truly one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen (and I've been to a lot of them). I also took a lot of photos of this church. If you're not into churches, don't skip just yet, because most of the decoration of the church was pattern-based and quite design-y. Oh it was so pretty; the murals were brightly coloured, with pictures of flowers and geometric patterns.

I visited this church twice, once with a tour and once by myself because I just had to go back and spend longer there. The murals were painted in 1895 by Stanislaw Wyspiański, who was born and worked as a creative in Krakow, painting, writing plays and poems and so on.

So without further ado, here are lots of pretty pictures of this church!
