In another attempt to blow off the Christmas cobwebs, we went for another hike, in a different part of Dartmoor this time. It wasn't very successful, however, as we were looking for a place called Shilley Pool and never actually found it. On looking for it, we ended up wandering around the tufty grass and hidden stones of Dartmoor, until my Mum had had enough and we ended up walking back to South Zeal for lunch in the local pub... so it wasn't all bad!
