As much as I don't really like the cold, Christmas in London is something I always look forward to when the temperature starts dropping. Yes I miss our warm Aussie Christmas's - eating salads, drinking cold wine on the deck and plenty of sunshine - but there is something nice about a cold Christmas too. I especially like how people decorate their homes at Christmas here (there's no gaudy lights here!) and make a point to go out every year if I can to look at doors with wreathes and stores decked in Christmas cheer.

I started my walk at home, walking up through the Swiss Cottage area and over to Primrose Hill and found some lovely colourful houses and shops. I'm not really sure where I was for much of this walk, but I was loving the crisp blue skies and sunshine so much that I just kept going. Enjoy.
