Day 2 started with a Porto Free Walking Tour. I usually enjoy these tours - you can find out a lot about a place with them. This one didn't take me anywhere I hadn't been yesterday, but I learned a great deal about the place.

After the tour, I went to the church of St Francis and had a look around. It was a nice bright church - some of the others in Porto were a bit gloomy. This one did have cool catacombs though.

Then I decided to walk to Foz do Duoro. It's about a 6km walk and I was planning on walking there and catching the tram back. However, I was about 2/3 there when it started raining! Boo. But I did happen to walk past a craft and vintage market that was open for Christmas and popped in to have a look (and left with a pair of earrings..). I also walked past this lovely church covered in azulejos... so it was all worth it, despite not quite making it to my destination!
