Rome is so different to everywhere I have been before. They literally have broken pieces of history all over the city. The Colosseum was massive, so much bigger than I'd imagined. And it's plonked right in the centre of the city with cars just driving around it like it's nothing. So strange but I loved the nonchalance!
The Forum was beautiful too, I spent ages trying to imagine what it would have looked like before. It was also bursting with roses, which always makes a place more enjoyable!
