The very famous Piazza San Marco was so flooded when I went there that you had to walk right around the outside of the square. Of course, I could have bought those shoe covers that everyone was using but I try not to look too much like a tourist when I travel around! It was a little hazy due to the rain, but not too bad - it still looked pretty!
