I am convinced that the whole of Norway is nothing but a real life Lord of the Rings-style adventure... it sure reminded me of those movies!!

Except for the tiny houses perched on the cliffs – those raised more questions than answers... who lives there? What do they do for work? How do they get there? Do that have internet? Power? Why? I mean, it was beautiful for sure, but absolutely so remote that, as hermit-y as I sometimes feel, I couldn't imagine spending a lot of time there!

After we got to Gudvangen, the next part of the adventure was a bus trip down windy little roads to Voss, and then a train back to Bergen. Sadly, I have no photos of this - the bus trip was because there was basically no point (I was never going to get good photos out the window!), and we were in Voss for such a short period of time!

All in all, I think it's one of the best trips I've ever done, and wholly worth the 1440NOK that it cost. It was an absolutely amazing day, full of stunning scenery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
