I stopped in Belfort for lunch, and visited the big attraction of the area: the Lion of Belfort. This was created by the same guy who then went on to create the Statue of Liberty! There was also a castle on the top of the hill, with a whole lot of Roman ruins around it as well.
An interesting stop over, and the lady at the restaurant I had lunch in was lovely - she was helping me out with me patchy French!
