The cats of Greece are a definite thing. I don’t think the Greeks really care much about cats and they don’t get de-sexed, so there were a lot of them around. They are also mostly quite scared of humans, quite rightly so since while I was there someone put up a poster about how a whole family of cats had been poisoned. Still, I gave them pats, kind words, food (if I had any) and water if I could.
