Cooper Creek to Eulo.

First stop was a wee break at a gravel pit on the side of the road where we spotted a whole heap of birds in the grass, and in the trees too. We got a bit closer and they were all Major Mitchells. I was standing by a tree just watching them and looked up and there was one right by, just having a chat with me!

We stopped in at Quilpie to get some groceries then drove to Eulo to get fuel. We had a look around the small town – there was a fossil of a big wombat x sloth found there!

A billabong was our campsite for the night, where there were lots of birds and a nice sunset too. A very peaceful night, we even roasted some apples in the fire for dessert.
