DAY 155
22nd July 2021
We got to the end of the first part of the Telegraph Track, but just before rejoining the main road, there were these lovely turtle pools on the side of the track. Honestly there were so many hidden gems that suddenly popped out of nowhere on this track.

We got back to the main road. Bumpy! The first stop was at Fruitbat Falls, which was about 3km off the PDR. Oh it was a lovely spot. Even I went in for a swim. It had been so long that I'd gone swimming that when went to get my swimmers, everything in my box was damp and mouldy. It was gross!
But we had a swim in the falls for a while, very relaxing and pleasant. The water was so crystal clear and there were pools that you could drop into. Amazing.
We then went to Eliot/Twin falls. There were less people here because it was down the Telegraph Track and required a 4wd (and no caravans). The Fruitbat Falls were nicer to swim in for me but these were so much prettier. Eliot Falls was lovely but there was just no good way to get in and out of the water. So neither Josh nor myself went in but Rachael and Jayden loved it, they’re younger and fitter than us, but it was a shame. We went in the nearby Twin Falls, not as nice but still pretty.
The last waterfall we went to was Sam’s Creek, where we also set up camp. There was this perfect little beach and we went down to have a swim. Then we went back up to the campsite to just chill. We also decided to stay there for two nights as it was so nice.
DAY 156
23rd July 2021
Stayed at camp. It’s very nice. We went swimming in the morning, did some washing and cleaned out the mould found yesterday and just generally had a relaxing day.
