My birthday!
Drove down to Port Douglas and visited 4 mile beach. We were there nice and early so it wasn’t too crazy. There were people doing Tai Chi in the park. The beach was another one with palm trees but it had big mud flats. We looked around Port Douglas, it was very ritzy. The wooden church on the water was beautiful though.

We drove to Daintree Village from there and went to the campsite in the village early to get a spot – we got the best view going! After setting up, we went to the docks to board the Crocodile Express tour, 1 hour on the Daintree river. We saw 1 2.5m croc and a baby croc. Got back to camp at 3:30pm to find that our friends from the Speewah NP camping disaster were there. We did some washing then had afternoon tea and drinks with them. Lamb forequarter chops for b’day dinner.
