We drove on the tourist drive through the Stirling Ranges which was absolutely gorgeous. We took quite a lot of photos there – the green hills and the orange dirt road were a great combination. We flew the drone overhead too, it was so beautiful.
We then drove through Cranbrook and the Frankland River wine area. We stopped at a lake campsite for lunch but it wasn’t very nice, so we tried two others and settled on a campsite at Jayes Bridge. This turned out to be one of our favourite campsites and we stayed there for several days. It wasn’t much, just some trees and a nearby river, but there were lots of birds, there was reception and I think we needed a break. There was also a drop loo but it wasn’t in a great state!
