We left the campsite early to go to Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool. It was another grey and drizzly day, although it did get better while we were there. We had to wade through water to get to the beach at Elephant Rocks but it was so worth it. We were the only ones there for a while. Bit of a storm while we were there too, dark and rainy, but the photos turned out lovely, as there was not too much sun out to reflect off the water and you could see the serious blue colour of the ocean.
We then went over to Greens Pool. Oh it was so lovely. The sun had come out by then and I really wanted to go for a swim but there were no freshwater showers there, and we didn’t know where our next campsite was and I didn’t want to spend my afternoon all sticky and gross. Disappointing, and I don’t know why they don’t just install showers there as they already had toilets.
We drove to Cosy Corner to camp and managed to get a spot just as someone was leaving - it was the only spot that was available the time we were there. I wish we’d stayed there a little longer too, it was a nice site.
