DAY 84

8th March 2021

We drove along the Twilight Beach road to see all the lovely beaches around Esperance. Covered off Lovers Beach, Blue Haven Beach (where we put the drone up and saw a pod of dolphins), Twilight Cove and Observatory Point. There were some truly beautiful beaches.

We passed the Pink Lake but it wasn’t very pink at the time. We then drove out west towards Albany and spent the night at Munglinup campsite, which had showers, yay!

DAY 85

9th March 2021

We had to take a massive detour to get to Albany. It was really stupid, because there were detour signs on our road, but no warning about there being no fuel, and it was at least 100km out of the way, as it went out almost to the Stirling Ranges. Sketchy.

We got to Albany and bought some stuff from Supercheap to fix the car and some fuel ($1.159!) before heading to a campsite nearby for a late lunch. It wasn’t a very nice site, called Torbay campsite. We were looking for somewhere to stay for a few days but the camp was chockers and the sites were tiny. It also had a very full toilet so kinda gross.
