With the 2018 World Cup approaching, The FA wanted to design a guide for the media attending and reporting on the games. We had some branding (mainly for advertising), so I was tasked with developing a look and feel that could be used for long-form documents.

The brief was to develop a media guide that would be sent to the reporters covering the World Cup in Russia. The branding was completed by an external company, but was mainly used on advertising, so new that we didn't really have much in the way of guidelines for any text-heavy documents. The brand therefore had to be developed, as the colours and typography were not conducive to long sections of copy.

The Media Guide was to combine current player stats, historical information, fixture tables, information about Russia and the different stadia the games would be played in, as well as useful information such as time differences and calling codes. This was all put together into a handy interactive pdf.
