After driving all the way to Gunby, the next stop was to drive across to Chatsworth House in the Peak District, about an hour and a half away. I took my time and drove through a lovely place near to where I stayed the night called Belton, where there was a National Trust property called Belton House. Infuriatingly, all grand houses don't seem to open before 11am, and as I was there at about 9am, I just had a quick look around the gardens before walking through the pretty little village of Belton.
