Chateau de Chaumont is a lovely chateau on the banks of the Loire river. It has a very long history, having passed through many French noble hands throughout its history. The current castle is quite famous because of its garden festivals, but I was more interested in the castle itself – the festival art was a bit too "contemporary" for me.
