After my lovely night stay in Daglan (except for a weird incident where someone was snooping around my camper while I was asleep inside... nosy people!), I set out early to find a boulangerie and explore the town a little. I'd stumbled upon Daglan totally by chance - it was in my guidebook about caravan and camping spots - but it was such a pretty little town!

After scoffing a pain aux chocolat (and maybe a croissant as well..), I set out for chateau country! First stop was the nearby Castelnaud la Chapelle. It was right up the top of a hill, but you could drive up and park. It was a medieval fortress and today houses a museum on medieval warfare. This didn't really interest me, so I had a quick look around before heading off to the Chateau des Milandes just down the road.
