The campsite I spent the night in after Avignon was the worst one of the whole trip - it was expensive, the facilities were pretty gross, and they had a disco night on and I was parked close to the main area, meaning I didn't get to sleep until after 12 and woke up with the sun at 6am. Yawn.

Going to Beziers the next day definitely made up for it. It was such an unexpectedly nice place, with lovely staff in the tourist office, an amazing church on the hill and a view across the river that was definitely worth the walk!
