Hautvillers is a gorgeous little champagne-producing village with a claim to fame. It is where Dom Perignon lived and is buried. Some of the major champagne houses grow their grapes on the sides of the town - Moet and Veuve were both signposted (though sadly no Dom grapes).
The town itself was quaint, with little champagne houses dotted all around. I did go into one and buy some champagne too, of course!
