I asked my parents what they thought about going away for the Christmas markets, so that's what we did in December. They chose Dusseldorf in Germany because we had to fly from Heathrow - the smaller budget airports are just too far away for them! So off we flew one Friday night!
It was my first experience of being in Germany and I really enjoyed it. Dusseldorf was an easy place to get around, it was quite small and quaint and the Christmas markets were really good - they were so busy for such a small place, but it was great fun!
