I was down in Devon as autumn was settling in - I think this is my favourite season in the UK. As much as I love everything coming to life in spring, the colour changes of the trees in the UK are just so dramatic. The light gets more golden (on the good days without rain), there are pops of yellow, orange, red and almost purple colours everywhere, and the nights start to draw in in that nice cosy way.
