Old dining cars, Dartmoor ponies, chocolate-box villages and lonely houses on the moors - Devon is so beautiful!
My mum and I hired bikes, with the intention of going for an easy, flat ride for her (and me!) to re-learn how to ride a bike. She was thinking about buying one, as its easy transport for when you drive a motor home around and stay in caravan parks like they do. We hired them for 4 hours, and lasted about 45 minutes. All the confidence of riding a bike had gone for her. I was a little shaky but worked up to it. But we decided to take the bikes back... me riding mine, mum walking hers. Then we stopped off at Dartmoor on the way back home to go for a walk and say hello to the fat little ponies. They are so adorable!
