The Harry Potter Tour was divided into two parts – the first (previous post) very much focused on the sets, costumes and props used in the movie. The second part, however, showed a lot more about how some very talented people brought the story to life. There was drawings and models of all the different monsters and critters, including something I found pretty wild – a lot of scenes with Hagrid featured an animatronic head on top of a very tall rugby player!! There was also some beautiful artwork used for the production design on display. What a cool job!

Then, after a walk through Diagon Alley, I had a look at the beautifully detailed scale models of Hogwarts. It's incredible the level of detail filmmakers go to!

After looking through all the names in Olivanders shop (the names on the wand boxes were all the people who worked on the movie, there were thousands!), I made my way through the gift shop and back to the train home. I highly recommend this tour, but go on public transport if you can just get tickets to the studio, as you'll save about £15
