My last day in Brussels and I woke up to SNOW!!! I was so excited - to go to bed one night then wake up to a soft carpet of snow was just so awesome! I headed straight to the park, which I knew would look amazing in the snow, and it didn't disappoint! It wasn't very heavy snow, but it was cold enough that it stayed around until I caught the Eurostar back to London.
After the park, I walked up to see this Art Deco museum, the Horta museum. I was so sad that it was closed that day - lots of museums in Europe are closed on Mondays - so I went for a final wander around Brussels before heading back to my hotel to grab my luggage then off to the train. I do wish the Eurostar was a bit cheaper, as its usually much more expensive than flying, but oh-so-convenient! I was back in London in under 3 hours!
