I spent the first weekend of my roadtrip in Strasbourg. I've been wanting to go here for ages and it didn't disappoint - it was gorgeous, sunny, warm and altogether a great experience. My lunch on Saturday was from this amazing pot salad place - quinoa, avocado, and pink grapefruit, plus some other things. Tasty! I also had a nice dinner of spätzle and meatballs... even though it was super warm, I have always loved spätzle and wanted to eat it in Alsace.
The two days were spent walking all over the lovely city. I went to the cathedral twice to soak it up properly, and wandered all through the little wooden houses in Petit France.
