I got to Rome at about 2pm and promptly changed into sandals and summer clothes - it was over 30 degrees! I hadn't realised how much living in the UK made me miss being warm! First port of call was to wander around the streets to get my bearings. And I instantly fell in love... what a beautiful place Rome is!
