Bodium Castle is a 14th century moated castle in East Sussex. It was like a lot of castles across the UK - made of stone, drafty and dark. I wouldn't have liked to live in it as it was, as there was no lining of the walls. But the moat was cool and I could definitely see how it would be a deterrent to troops back in the day!
