For my last few hours in Venice, I jumped on a vaporetto and went back to Piazza San Marco with the intention of going into the Basilica San Marco. However, being Sunday, there was a service on and the church was not open to the public. Bad timing! So I just wandered around a bit more, before heading back to my hotel and back to London. I will be back though - 2 days was definitely not enough there!
