Hartland Quay is an incredibly imposing place - the land ends in sharp cliffs and the sea and wind batter the shoreline relentlessly. It was once used as a harbour until the sea destroyed the pier, and this was probably a good thing as more than a few ships ended up shipwrecked here. The rock formations were truly incredible though...
