My second day in Edinburgh was a Sunday. It was blissfully quiet, so I went out to do some exploring before everyone else woke up - my favourite time of day!
I started around the back of the castle, at this little church and cemetery... I'm a sucker for old cemeteries! Then walked around to the park before going to the new side, buying a hot chocolate, and just pottering around. I flew back to London later that afternoon.
I wish I'd spent a bit longer there however, I feel like I only just scratched the surface. I'm sure I'll return one day!
